Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you well. As we begin our second semester, I wanted to take a moment to revisit the criteria set forth for the promotion of our 8th-grade students. During registration, we thoroughly discussed these requirements with both students and parents, ensuring clarity and understanding before signatures were affixed to the agenda paper.

As communicated during registration, there are specific qualifications and disqualifications for participation in both the 8th-grade field trip and promotion ceremony.

The requirements for the 8th-grade field trip state that students must have no more than four referrals. Additionally, to be eligible for the 8th-grade promotion ceremony, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and not have more than two incompletes.

We encourage you to discuss these criteria's with your student and use it as an opportunity to reflect on areas for improvement. Our teachers and staff are here to support your student in any way we can, and we remain committed to their academic success.
