Hello! My name is Mrs. Smith. I have always had a passion for science and understanding the way the world works around us. I hope to instill this passion in my students and encourage them to never stop asking questions. Before rediscovering my love of education, I worked in the field of Marine Biology for several years where I gained hands-on scientific experience. I hope to bring this real world experience into the classroom to show students how their learning can be applicable. My goal for the classroom is to create an environment where students can learn and gain scientific knowledge through hands-on and project-based learning.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy being out in nature. I love scuba diving, hiking, or spending time at the beach.
